Breaking News!!: Needles, CA: A woman traveling to Laughlin, Nevada became lost.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, at around 7:15pm PT, San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department received a call from Mohave County Sheriff’s Dispatch that there was a lost person who was traveling from Phoenix, Arizona to the Laughlin, Nevada.

San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Deputy Nick Caronnatells ZachNews that the women was following her G.P.S. device and had taken her off onto a dirt road, and didn’t know where she was at.

San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department received the GPS coordinates through Sheriff’s dispatch and Sheriff’s Deputies were able to convert those GPS coordinates into a location and the woman was found safely around Interstate 40 and Ice Plant Road in Needles, California and didn’t need to be transported to a hospital.

Great Job to the Men and Woman of the Mohave County Sheriff’s Department and the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.

For those who are planning to drive at night into the desert, make sure to double check the route you’re heading to and make sure to have an emergency kit prepared with water, snacks, first aid supplies, and extra set of warm clothing in your vehicle at all times in case your get lost on the road, get stuck on the road, or any other emergency.
