Breaking News!!: Santa Clarita, CA: Accident kills 2 people including actor Paul Walker.
Actor Paul Walker, seen in this picture from Paul Walker’s Facebook Page, has died late Saturday afternoon after a single car accident and explosion.

The accident happened in Santa Clarita, California and 40 year old Paul Walker was the passenger in the 2 seater Porsche Carrera GT and was in the area to attend a charity event for his organization Reach Out Worldwide when the driver somehow lost control and slammed into a post or a tree and the car burst into flames.

Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Department Deputies from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Department Station responded to that location at around 3:30pm PT and found a vehicle that had crashed into a pole or tree and was engulfed in flames.

Los Angeles County Fire Department Firefighters arrived to the location and extinguished the fire then found the 2 victims inside the vehicle and were pronounced dead at the scene.

Celebrities who worked with Paul Walker as well as his many fans around the globe are in shock and deeply sad for the lost of a great actor and

According to a posting on the Paul Walker’s Facebook Page from Team Paul Walker, “It is with a truly heavy heart that we must confirm that Paul Walker passed away today in a tragic car accident while attending a charity event for his organization Reach Out Worldwide. He was a passenger in a friend’s car, in which both lost their lives. We appreciate your patience as we too are stunned and saddened beyond belief by this news. Thank you for keeping his family and friends in your prayers during this very difficult time. We will do our best to keep you apprised on where to send condolences.”

Actor Paul Walker was best known for his role in the “Fast and Furious” movie franchise and Paul Walker’s death was reportedly confirmed in a statement issued by Universal Studios.

Universal Studios, which produced the films, issued a statement late Saturday evening saying, “All of us at Universal are heartbroken. Paul was truly one of the most beloved and respected members of our studio family for 14 years, and this loss is devastating to us, to everyone involved with the ‘Fast and Furious’ films, and to countless fans. We send our deepest and most sincere condolences to Paul’s family.”

Paul Walker’s Representative released a statement late Saturday night says “He was a passenger in a friend’s car, in which both lost their lives.”

An investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.

Due to the removal of a large tanker under Santa Fe Park, drivers should be on alert for addition street closures or traffic restrictions near the intersection of Front Street and G Street. This removal of this large tanker from under Santa Fe Park may happen between Tuesday, June 25th, 2013 to Thursday, June 27th, 2013. As of Thursday, October, 3rd, 2013, H Street at Front Street, Front Street from I Street to G Street, and G Street at Front Street remain closed.

– Near Needles, California:

According to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) website, mill and overlay the existing asphalt is being done and is being done in and near Needles, California on Interstate 40 from Buzzard Wash to the California State Line. The construction project began on Thursday, March 7th, 2013 and estimate completion date is set for Monday, May 19th, 2014.

Needles, CA: The community comes together to celebrate Thanksgiving Day by giving to those in the community.

 

 

Throughout the community of Needles, California, people celebrated Thanksgiving Day by volunteering and giving to others in the community.

 

 

Hard working volunteers and church members at St. Ann Catholic Church in Downtown Needles, California served Thanksgiving Day meals to those in the community. Needles City Manager Rick Daniels join volunteers and church members to serve plates of delicious turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes with gravy, cranberry sauce, and dessert with your choice of pumpkin pie and apple pie with whipped cream on top.

 

 

On the western side of Needles, California, Westside Chevron Gas Station Manager George Edward Hamil Sr. with the help of Daughter April Craig, Son In Law Bryan Craig, Wife Anita Hamil, the manager at Denny’s in Needles, California, and both Cliff, Grabel, Makenzie, and Jesse Furgoso from the City of Needles all came together to cook up and put together Thanksgiving Day meal plates to those in the community. At least 20 people from the community came by the Westside Chevron Gas Station and picked up their Thanksgiving Day meal plates which was served with delicious turkey, ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes with gravy, cranberry sauce, and dessert with pumpkin pie.
