Thousands of people attended a vigil near Los Angeles City Hall in Downtown Los Angeles, California to remember those who were killed in the terror attack on the Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Florida.
Singer Lady Gaga read the names of the fallen to a hushed crowd.
Los Angeles’ LGBT community chanted loud and proud before Lady Gaga, an activist in the community, approached the podium in a surprise appearance.

A large vigil was held for the victims of the deadly terror attack that took the lives of 49 innocent people by a hateful terrorists gunman.
The vigil both remembered those innocent lives and to show that love will always win above terror and hate.
Another vigil will be held Los Angeles City Hall, locate at 200 North Spring Street, in Downtown Los Angeles, California starting after 7:00pm PT on Monday, June 13th, 2016.
The terror attack in Orlando, Florida has a San Bernardino County, California connection with one of the lives taken by a evil gunman.

A nation mourns together the lost of many innocent people following a deadly terror attack on the Pulse nightclub, a popular gay nightclub, in Orlando, Florida on Sunday, June 12th, 2016.

Federal authorities say as more than 300 people packed the Pulse nightclub, the gunman stormed into the Pulse nightclub at around 2:00am ET, armed with a .223-caliber AR-type rifle and Glock handgun, and began shooting.
Posting onto their Facebook page, the Pulse nightclub sent out this alert to its followers at 2:09am ET saying, “Everyone get out of Pulse and keep running”.
According to the Orlando Police Department, a law enforcement officer working at the nightclub responded as shots rang out, and engaged the gunman in a gun battle.
The gunman then went deeper into the nightclub, where more shots were fired.
Authorities from all different agencies rushed to the deadly mass shooting.
The incident then quickly turned in to what authorities described as a hostage situation, and the gunman continued shooting inside the club.
About 3 hours later, Orlando Police Department Chief John Mina said a decision was made to enter the building to rescue hostages.
At that point, Orlando Police Department Officers and 3 Orange County Sheriff’s Deputies exchanged gunfire with the gunman.
At 5:53am ET, the Orlando Police Department tweeted out on their Twitter page, “The shooter inside the club is dead”.
According to Orlando Police Department Chief John Mina, approximately 15 people were held hostage in a bathroom.
At the scene, many victims could be seen being carried or walked to nearby Orlando Regional Medical Center, which was placed on lockdown so staff could focus on the mass casualty event.
According to the Orlando Police Department, 49 people were killed and 53 people were injured, including 5 people remain in grave condition, in the attack at the Pulse nightclub.
A list of the 49 people killed in the attack at the Pulse nightclub was released.

Federal authorities identified the gunman as 29 year old Omar Mir Seddique Mateen, an American citizen born in New York, and had been investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation twice before.
According to Federal Bureau of Investigation Agent in Charge Ronald Hopper, Omar Mir Seddique Mateen made comments to co-workers in 2013 that indicated he had ties to terrorist organizations. In 2014, officials found that Omar Mir Seddique Mateen had ties to an American suicide bomber.
Law enforcement officials say that shortly before the shooting, Omar Mir Seddique Mateen swore allegiance to the leader of ISIS in a 911 phone call, in which he mentioned Boston Marathon bombers Dzhokhar Tsarnaev and Tamerlan Tsarnaev.
Sitora Yusuify, Mateen’s ex-wife, spoke with the Federal Bureau of Investigation about her ex-husband Sunday night. During an interview in Denver, Colorado she described Omar Mir Seddique Mateen as violent and “very short-tempered.”
According to Trevor Velinor, Assistant Special Agent in charge of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Tampa Field Office, Omar Mir Seddique Mateen legally purchased the firearms within the past week.
Omar Mir Seddique Mateen’s father says he was unaware of son’s plans Yusufiy said Mateen wanted to be a law enforcement officer when they were married.
Omar Mir Seddique Mateen was the son of an Afghan immigrant who had a talk show in the United States of America, the nature of which was not entirely clear.
Omar Mir Seddique Mateen attended evening prayer services at the city’s Islamic Center three to four times a week, most recently with his young son, said Imam Syed Shafeeq Rahman.
Imam Syed Shafeeq Rahman also said that although he was not very social, Omar Mir Seddique Mateen also showed no signs of violence.
Federal Bureau of Investigation director James Comey spoke in a news conference on Monday, June 13th, 2016 saying investigators saw no indication that the gunman was part of any kind of network, although he said there were “strong indications of radicalization by this killer.”
