News Update!!: Mohave Valley, AZ: Uninhabited mobile home fire.

ZachNews has learned that the smoke seen Thursday afternoon in the area east of Mountain View Road and north of Maverick Drive in Mohave Valley, Arizona was from a mobile home fire.

According to the Mohave Valley Fire Department, at around 4:05pm PT on Thursday, August 18th, 2016, received a 911 call of a fire located on the 2000 block of Lone Star Drive in Mohave Valley, Arizona.

As crews arrived, a single wide mobile home was fully on flames.

A check of the residence found the mobile home was uninhabited.

Windy conditions from a passing thunderstorm blowing smoldering fronds toward other buildings and palm trees, but firefighters protected other buildings and put out any fires.

Fort Mojave Mesa Fire Department and San Bernardino County Fire Department were called in to assist in battling the fire.

There were no reports of any firefighters or civilians injured during the fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
