Needles, CA: Convicted felon arrested for possession of a firearm.

 

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, at around 8:05pm PT on Thursday, September 1st, 2016, deputys from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station responded to the Carls Jr. restaurant located at 2601 Needles Highway in Needles, California for a report of a man with a gun.

 

The caller said a white male with tattoos on his face and head, had a semi automatic handgun in his waistband while sitting inside the restaurant.

 

Deputies arrived and quickly detained the subject.

 

A loaded semi-automatic handgun was located in the subjects waistband.

 

The subject was identified by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department as 35 year old Joseph Waller of Arizona.

 

A second loaded handgun was located near Joseph Waller.

 

The handgun was stolen out of Kingman, Arizona.

 

Joseph Waller, a convicted felon, was taken into police custody without incident and booked into the Needles Jail.
