Downtown Needles, CA: Person arrested for attempted robbery.

 

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, at about 7:25pm PT on Monday, September 5th, 2016, a person identified by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department as 29 years old Bobby Dillashaw from Needles, California approached a family member near the Needles Point Liquor store, located along the 1100 block of West Broadway near I Street, in Downtown Needles, California.

 

Bobby Dillashaw’s mother uses the aid of a mechanical wheel chair to get from her home to the store for groceries.

 

Bobby Dillashaw was very angry with his family member and grabbed for a purse and tried to forcefully take it from her.

 

The victim screamed for help and Bobby Dillashaw fled from the area on his bicycle.

 

Bobby Dillashaw was later located in the 900 block of Coronado Street in Needles, California and found to be in possession of a switch blade.

 

Bobby Dillashaw was arrested without incident for PC 664/211 Attempted Robbery and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking and processing.
