San Bernardino, CA: Suspect arrested after police pursuit in stolen vehicle.
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, at approximately 12:38am PT on Friday, September 23rd, 2016, Sergeant Fred Parrish observed a vehicle which matched the description of a recently stolen vehicle.
Sergeant Fred Parrish activated his lights and siren in an attempt to conduct a traffic stop.
The vehicle fled at a high rate of speed through city streets and residential neighborhoods.
The suspect driver pulled over in the 1600 Block of Newcomb Street in San Bernardino, California.
The suspect driver was apprehended and identified as 37 year old James Tanner from San Bernardino, California.
James Tanner was found to be a Parolee at Large and had a no bail warrant for his arrest.
The vehicle was reported stolen in Rialto, California.
James Tanner was arrested for Felony Evading and Grand Theft Automobile, and was booked into the Central Detention Center.
