Needles, CA: New San Bernardino County Fire Station 32 Ribbon Cutting Ceremony today.

A ribbon cutting ceremony for the new San Bernardino County Fire Station 32 will be held at 10:00am PT on Monday, October 31st, 2016 at 100 Safari Drive, near East Broadway (State Route 95) and just south of the Needles Riverview Cemetery and Interstate 40, in Needles, California.

City of Needles Officials as well as 1st District Supervisor Robert Lovingood and San Bernardino County Fire Department Chief Mark Hartwig will be at ribbon cutting ceremony.

The River’s Edge Community Christian Church will be having Trunk or Treat 2016 starting at 5:00pm on Monday, October 31st, 2016 at River’s Edge Community Christian Church located at 244 G Street in Downtown Needles, California.

There will be candy being handed out as well as giving away hot dogs and drinks.

There will be a pumpkin carving contest.

Carve your pumpkin at home and bring on down.

Pumpkins carved by those under 12 and over 12 will be entered.

The best pumpkin for each category will win a prize.

Great fun for kids and families to enjoy.

A Halloween costume contest was held with gift certificate prizes.

Downtown Needles, CA: Suspect arrested for transportation of marijuana.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, in the early morning hours of Sunday, October 30th, 2016, deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station in Needles, California contacted 27 year old Tom Ngo of Los Angeles, California during a traffic stop at Front Street and I Street in Downtown Needles, California.

When contacted, deputies could smell a strong odor of marijuana coming from Tom Ngo’s vehicle.

Tom Ngo traveled from Los Angeles, California to deliver a large amount of marijuana and marijuana products to a local marijuana retailer.

Tom Ngo would not disclose the name of the retailer nor did he have an invoice for the delivery or purchase of the marijuana.

A search of the rental vehicle revealed nearly two pounds of packaged marijuana, several pieces of marijuana consumables, along with two cell phones and over $1500.00 in cash.

Tom Ngo was booked at the Colorado River Station Jail with his bail set at $50,000.

The Eagles Aerie #2599 will be having a Trunk and Treat at 5:00pm PT on Sunday, October 30th, 2016 at the Eagles Aerie #2599 located at 729 Front Street, near E Street, in Downtown Needles, California.

The trunks of the trucks and cars in the parking lot will be decorated for kids and candy will be handed out at the vehicles.

There will also be hamburgers and chili dogs served inside the Eagles Aerie #2599 for a donation.
