Elections 2016: Downtown Needles, CA: Meet the Candidates Forum.

The Needles Downtown Business Alliance and the Needles Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Meet the Candidates Forum with candidates running for Needles City Council, City of Needles Mayor, and for the Needles School Board starting at 6:00pm PT on Wednesday, October 12th, 2016 at the El Garces Train Depot, located along the 900 block of Front Street near Santa Fe Park, in Downtown Needles, California.

The forum will give voters the opportunity to submit their questions directly to a single candidate or to all candidates.

Each of the submitted questions will be reviewed by a panel of volunteers before submission to the candidates for them to answers to submitted questions.

The moderator for the forum will be George DeLeon who is a Commander with the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 404 and the Manager of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store.

This is a list of the candidates running for Needles City Council and for City of Needles Mayor provided by the City of Needles.

As for the Needles School Board, there are at least 4 candidates running for seats on the Needles Unified School District Board of Trustees.

According to the San Bernardino County Elections Office of the Registrar of Voters, the candidates running are Chad Donald Zamora, Christina Cameron-Otero, Steven Thomas, and Marilyn H. Mathews.

The public is encouraged to attend this Meet the Candidates Forum to learn more about the candidates before they decide who they want to vote for during the November 2016 Elections.
