The project will not have a widening of the West Broadway bridge became that was too costly and was eliminated from the proposal project.

The project went through environmental impact reports as well as through eminent domain, and with the ground broken on this project, completion of the Interstate 40 / Arizona Highway 95 Connector is scheduled for May 2017.

  1. What a monumental waste of taxpayers dollars to help folks leave the state…and to enact eminent domain for that purpose, in my opinion is an abuse of power. Sure you get a small section of Broadway resurfaced, you do want to keep those folks leaving town comfy on their way to Arizona.
Exactly how is this going to benefit Needles? All I’ve heard so far is: blah, blah, blah, b-blah.
