Needles, CA: Ribbon cut for the new Dollar General store.

A ribbon cutting grand opening celebration of the new Dollar General store was held on Saturday, November 5th, 2016.

People lined up before 6:00am PT for the new Dollar General store, located at 1500 Hospitality Lane near J Street, in Needles, California to welcome the new business as well as to get gift cards and goodie bags.

Local manager for the new Dollar General store and District Manager for Dollar General met with City of Needles Mayor, Needles Vice Mayor, and Needles City Manager at the ribbon cutting grand opening celebration.

After the ribbon was cut, people came in and received their gift cards and goodie bags.

Soon after, people were seen shopping inside the new Dollar General store and a long line of people were seen waiting to pay for their purchases.

Employees and representative of Dollar General are excited to be in Needles, California, and to help and participate in our community.

As people were done shopping, there will be free popcorn, chips, hot dogs, and water for everybody in celebration of their Grand Opening set up by Event Staff for Dollar General.

Over 200 people came out for the celebration and were happy to shop at their business locally.

 

The new Dollar General store is opened Monday through Sunday from 8:00am to 10:00pm PT.
