Breaking News!!: St. Louis, MO: Officer shot in ambushed.
According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, an officer was shot in St. Louis, Missouri on Sunday, November 20th, 2016.

The shooting occurred at the intersection of Hampton and Pernod Avenue just before 7:30pm CT.
According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department Chief Sam Dotson, the officer was ambushed by an individual who shot out the officer’s window.
The officer, a 46 year old sergeant with 20 years in the police department and is married with 3 children, was shot twice in the face.
The officer then called for assistance following the shooting.
The officer is currently listed in critical, but stable condition and was in surgery.
The suspect is still at large and authorities are searching for the suspect.
Crime Stoppers announced a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the arrest of the person who shot the officer twice in the face.
