Downtown Needles, CA: Ol’ St. Nick on Route 66 Christmas in the Park 2016.

The Ol’ St. Nick on Route 66 Christmas in the Park 2016 will be held from 10:00am to 5:00pm PT on Saturday, December 3rd, 2016 at Santa Fe Park, located on the 900 block of Front Street, in Downtown Needles, California.

Sponsored by the Needles Downtown Business Alliance, the Ol’ St. Nick on Route 66 Christmas in the Park 2016 will have food vendors, shopping booths, craft booths, music, kids games, bounce houses, and much more both outside at Santa Fe Park and inside the El Garces Train Depot.

Santa’s Workshop, hosted by Desert Communities Federal Credit Union and the Women’s Club of Needles, will also be happening during the event between 10:00am and 2:00pm PT inside the Desert Communities Federal Credit Union.

Well there, sign your children up for the annual community toy drive.

There will also be a lighted parade at 5:00pm PT and will go westbound along West Broadway, northbound along F Street, and go by Santa Fe Park westbound along Front Street.

Due to the event and lighted parade, some streets will be closed so plan ahead and arrive early.

The deadline to sign up for the lighted parade is Wednesday, November 30th, 2016.

ZachNews has learned that there will not be a tree lighting ceremony during the event, but there is talks of a tree lighting ceremony separate from the event being planned and will be announced as soon as an official date is confirmed.
