Downtown Needles, CA: Deputies arrested 2 suspects for commercial burglary after they broke into the Historic Needles Theatre.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, at approximately 2:03pm PT on Wednesday, November 30th, 2016, deputies of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station were dispatched to an open door in the 800 block of West Broadway in Downtown Needles, California.

A door to the Historic Needles Theatre was found forced open. Deputies discovered there were antique brass letters stolen from inside the theatre.

The brass letters are used for the marquis sign in front of the theatre.

Luggage was located inside the theatre which identified 22 year old Jose Fernando Gallardo Jr. from Earp, California and 20 years old Anthony Mateo Rinaldo Gallardo from Earp, California to be suspects in the theft.

Jose Fernando Gallardo Jr. and Anthony Mateo Rinaldo Gallardo were both located during an area check near the theatre.

The stolen antique marquis letters were located and recovered from the luggage belonging to Jose Fernando Gallardo Jr. and Anthony Mateo Rinaldo Gallardo.

Jose Fernando Gallardo Jr. and Anthony Mateo Rinaldo Gallardo were arrested without incident and booked at the Colorado River Station Jail for PC 459C – Commercial Burglary.

Both Jose Fernando Gallardo Jr. and Anthony Mateo Rinaldo Gallardo are being held on $25,000.00 bail to appear in the Victorville Superior Court.
