ZachNews Photojournalist Zachary A. Lopez was invited to the meeting and filmed the meeting as the group discussed how they were being charged for their uses, how much were they being charge, the system use to get to the number to charge for uses, and how church schools are being charged like the public schools.
Concerns over the last few months regarding the new wastewater rates on local churches and the method or system use to charge local churches by the amount of seats; charging local religious organizations for more people then what they really have seated for the amount of wastewater produce, had many church leaders as well as people from the community upset and wanted something done to address their concerns and fix this problem so it’s fair.
