Needles, CA: Several suspects arrested after deputies track down stolen vehicle.
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, at 5:00pm PT on Saturday, December 17th, 2016, deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station received a Lojack notification of a stolen vehicle in the area of Bailey Avenue and J Street in Needles, California.
The vehicle in question was located and the license plate was confirmed stolen by dispatch.
Deputies conducted a felony traffic stop on the 1900 block of Clary Drive in Needles, California.
All occupants of the vehicle were taken into custody without incident.
The driver, 38 year old Alfred James Hicks from Kingman, Arizona, was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle.
A records check of Alfred James Hicks, also showed he was a fugitive from Nevada and wanted by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department for attempted murder.
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, 49 year old Clifford Lee Abrams from Mohave Valley, Arizona was found to be in possession of a controlled substance and syringes.
Clifford Lee Abrams also had multiple warrants for his arrest.
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, 21 year old Destiny Brown from Needles, California exhibited signs and symptoms of being under the influence of a controlled substance.
All three subjects were transported to the Colorado River Station Jail in Needles, California for booking.
Alfred James Hicks and Clifford Lee Abrams were held without bail, and Destiny Brown was later cited and released.
