Storm Watch 2017: Keenbrook, CA: Swift water rescue involving people trapped inside vehicle stuck in wash.
At least 2 people were rescued after being trapped inside their vehicle that got stuck in the wash in the Cajon Pass area near Cajon Boulevard at Swarthout Canyon Road in Keenbrook, California.
At around 2:41pm PT on Sunday, January 22nd, 2017, ZachNews heard the call of a vehicle stuck in a wash with 2 people inside the vehicle.
NBC affiliate KNBC Channel 4 Journalist Mekahlo Medina captured on camera (Pictured Above) 2 people inside a blue truck surrounded by water.
The San Bernardino County Fire Department’s Swift Water Rescue Team was called and when arrived, began rescue operations.
During the rescue operations, an additional engine for down stream spotter was request as the water in the wash continued to rise.
According to the San Bernardino County Fire Department, rescue operations were complete with all victims rescued.
The San Bernardino County Fire Department wants to remain everybody to do not drive through moving water.
