Breaking News!!: Las Vegas, NV: Suspect arrested in shooting and barricaded situation on the bus along the Las Vegas Strip.

According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the suspect in a shooting and barricaded situation on the bus along the Las Vegas Strip in Las Vegas, Nevada has been arrested at 3:24pm PT on Saturday, March 25th, 2017.

The barricaded situation all began with a shooting earlier shortly after 10:48am PT on Saturday, March 25th, 2017.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department responded to a reported shooting on a bus on Las Vegas Boulevard near the Cosmopolitan Resort.

According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, 2 people in the shooting were transported to UMC Trauma, and of the 2 victims, one died at the hospital and the other is in unknown condition.

The suspect barricade himself on the bus and SWAT Team responded to the barricade situation on the bus.

Over 5 hours later, the suspect reportedly armed with a handgun, was arrested without incident and with no shoots being fired.

The investigation continues into the shooting.

According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, there’s no evidence of a second shooter, no active shooter situation at any of the casinos, and the shooting is not an act of terrorism.
