Needles, CA: Man arrested for assault with a deadly weapon.
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, at about 6:14am PT on Tuesday, June 13th, 2017, deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station responded to a home in the 1900 block of Desoto Street in Needles, California for a report of a man who was beaten with a metal pole and sustained a broken leg.
The suspect was identified as 40 years old Francisco Garcia from Needles, California, who fled the scene on foot.
On Thursday, June 15th, 2017, Francisco Garcia was located in an abandoned house in the 200 block of Bazoobuth Street in Downtown Needles, California and taken into police custody.
Francisco Garcia was transported to the Needles Station, interviewed and booked into the Colorado River Station Jail in Needles, California for assault with a deadly weapon.
Francisco Garcia’s bail was set at $50,000.00 and is currently on formal felony probation for False Imprisonment.
