Free sports physical exams will be offer to student-athletes of Needles Middle School and Needles High School from 8:00am to 11:00am PT on Friday, July 28th, 2017 inside Colorado River Medical Center, located at 1401 Bailey Avenue, in Needles, California.

Forms can be picked up early and be filled out when the student arrives.

Get your student-athletes all check up and health ready for the fall school sports season in Needles, California.

Needles, CA: Indoor Yard Sale and Breakfast at the Needles Elk’s Lodge 1608.

The Needles Elk’s Lodge 1608 will be having their indoor yard sale from 6:00am to 2:00pm PT on Saturday, August 5th, 2017 inside the Needles Elk’s Lodge 1608 located at 1000 Lilyhill Drive, just south of Interstate 40, in Needles, California.

The indoor yard sale will have selling clothes, shoes, jewelry, books, televisions, tools and much more all inside their cool air condition building.

Delicious breakfast will also be sold from 7:00am to 11:00am PT offering pancakes or waffles, bacon, fruit, orange juice, and coffee, all for $6.00 per person.

Rain appears to be moving south pass Needles, California, but may change direction at any moment.

The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Warning from 11:06am PT/MST on Tuesday, July 25th, 2017 to 5:00pm PT/MST on Tuesday, July 25th, 2017 for southwestern Mohave County in northwestern Arizona, eastern San Bernardino County in southern California, and south central Clark County in southern Nevada, including the communities of Bullhead City, Kingman, Laughlin, Mitchell Caverns, Yucca, Highway 95 At Mile Marker 29, Topock, Wikieup, Cima, Katherine Landing, Needles, Oatman, Mid Hills Campground, Mojave Ranch Estates, Black Canyon Equestrian Campground, Diamond M Ranch, Big Bend Rec Area, Highway 95 And I-40, Golden Valley and Dw Ranch Road.

Breaking News!!: Essex, CA: Bridge washed out and truck crash along National Trails Highway.

Breaking News!!: Essex, CA: Bridge washed out and truck crash along National Trails Highway.

The California Highway Patrol has confirmed that a bridge has washed out along National Trails Highway, also known as Route 66, near Danby Road near Essex, California.

National Trails Highway is reportedly closed from Kelbaker Road near Amboy, California to Interstate 40 near Fenner, California due to the bridge being washed out from storms.

Alternate route around Route 66 closure is Interstate 40.

Pictures posted on the California Highway Patrol Needles Facebook page show the damage to the bridge along the famous highway known as Route 66.

California Highway Patrol also tells ZachNews that a truck tried to get by the washed out bridge, but wasn’t able to and landed on the ground before being fully engulfed.

At least 2 people were able to get out of the truck.

Some small thunderstorms were seen on the weather radar pooping up near U.S. 95 and Interstate 40 just west of Needles, California and lightning in the clouds could be seen distance in the mountains west of Needles, California.
