Downtown Needles, CA: Community rejoices for the Needles Holiday Fun Fair 2017.

The holiday season was kicked off with lots of fun and community togetherness during the Needles Holiday Fun Fair 2017 held on Saturday, December 2nd, 2017 in Downtown Needles, California.

The Needles Holiday Fun Fair 2017, formerly the Ol Santa Nick on Route 66, brought the popular community event back to life from an uncertain future thanks to a team effort by the Desert Communities Federal Credit Union, the Women’s Club of Needles, and the City of Needles.

The new event team brought the popular community event back to what it was years ago, placing the event right on the street of West Broadway so that nobody will missing the event and made sure that the Memorial Christmas Tree Lighting was brought back apart of the event.

ZachNews was broadcasting live on Facebook the Needles Holiday Fun Fair 2017 and gave a walking tour of all of the fun that awaited the community.

Vendors with a variety of different clothes, Christmas theme items, and homemade gifts were set up along West Broadway for a open street market experiences.

The California Highway Patrol in Needles, California had their booth set up and were giving out California Highway Patrol lanyard and stickers to the kids.

Next to the California Highway Patrol booth was their patrol vehicle where kids got to go inside and turn on the lights of the patrol vehicle.

On the west side of the Desert Communities Federal Credit Union, kids were seen having fun playing games in the kids game area.

Inside the Desert Communities Federal Credit Union off West Broadway, people were welcomed in to Santa Claus’ Workshop where kids visited with Santa Claus and told him what they want for Christmas.

From tasty chili dogs, chili, and soda to sweet and delicious treats, the Santa Claus’ Workshop had lunch and dessert waiting for you to enjoy.

The children also got to find the right gift for their parents and guardians in a Santa’s kid shop where kids can buy gifts for under a dollar and have their gifts wrapped for them with the help of Santa’s elves.
