Mohave Valley, AZ: Vehicle collision with no injuries along Arizona State Route 95 near Courtwright Road.

A vehicle collision occurred along Arizona State Route 95 near Courtwright Road in Mohave Valley, Arizona.

Terry Wyatt alerted ZachNews of the vehicle collision near the AM/PM Gas Station that reportedly occurred at 7:40pm MST on Monday, January 15th, 2018.

According to the Mohave Valley Fire Department, at least 2 vehicles were involved in the vehicle collision, but there were no injuries.

The roadway was closed, but Arizona Department of Transportation said the roadway is reopened.

A transformer catches on fire at the corner of King Street and Kingsley Street in Mohave Valley, Arizona causing power outage.

The fire occurred before 7:49am MST on Thursday, January 11th, 2018.

According to the Mohave Valley Fire Department, firefighters responded to the fire and put out the flames.

Utility crews with Mohave Electric Cooperative repaired the transformer and restored power to the affected area.

At this moment, unknown what caused the fire.

Mohave Valley, AZ: Investigation underway into vehicle and dumpster fires.

According to the Mohave Valley Fire Department, firefighters responded to a report of a vehicle fire with a structure endangered and a dumpster fire in the 10000 block of Mint Road in Mohave Valley, Arizona.

The fires reportedly occurred in the overnight hours of Thursday, January 11th, 2018.

Mohave Valley Fire Department as well as Fort Mohave Mesa Fire Department and San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the fire.

The fires were put out and are under investigation.

Garage fire was reported at 10029 River Delta Road in Mohave Valley, Arizona on Thursday, October 19th, 2017.

Smoke from the garage fire was spotted from Needles, California just before 12:00pm PT.

ZachNews Photojournalist Zachary A. Lopez broadcast live on Facebook on the garage fire.

Multiple fire department agencies responded to the garage, including Mohave Valley Fire Department, Fort Mojave Mesa Fire Department, and San Bernardino County Fire Department along with Mohave County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the garage fire.

The fire was contained to the garage and no other structures were not affected by the fire, including the residence of the garage.

According to the Mohave Valley Fire Department, no injuries reported and the fire is still under investigation; reports of welding being looked at.

Weather Alert!!: Colorado River Tri-State: More scattered thunderstorms approaching Colorado River and Route 66 communities.

More scattered thunderstorms have been spotted approaching Colorado River communities, including Topock, Arizona, Kingman, Arizona, and possibly Needles, California.

As seen on the KNBC Channel 4 weather radar, the scattered thunderstorms appear to be moving north and heavy moderate to heavy rain falling and thunder with lightning.

The scattered thunderstorms may stay away from Needles, California and move more towards the Kingman, Arizona area.

More scattered thunderstorm have also been spotted to the south of Blythe, California, also moving north and may possibly enter the Colorado River and Route 66 communities later today.

If you’re in the area along the Colorado River and Route 66 communities, including Topock, Arizona, Kingman, Arizona, and Needles, California, please be ready for the storms and if there’s any flooding along dirt channels, creeks, or rivers, stay away and don’t drive through the flooded roadway.

The National Weather Service in Las Vegas, Nevada has issued a Flash Flood Watch in effect from 9:00am PT on Friday, September 8th, 2017 until 5:00am PT on Monday, September 11th, 2017 for for portions of northwest Arizona, southeast California, and Nevada, including the following areas, in northwest Arizona, Lake Havasu and Fort Mohave, Lake Mead National Recreation Area, Northwest Deserts, and Northwest Plateau. In southeast California, Cadiz Basin, Eastern Mojave Desert, Morongo Basin, and San Bernardino County-Upper Colorado River Valley. In Nevada, Lake Mead National Recreation Area, Las Vegas Valley, Lincoln County, Northeast Clark County, Sheep Range, Southern Clark County, Spring Mountains-Red Rock Canyon, and Western Clark and Southern Nye County.

Thunderstorms have been spotted moving across Mojave Desert, including Amboy, California, Nipton, California, Goffs, California, Essex, California, and near Needles, California.

More thunderstorms are still coming to communities along the Colorado River later tonight.
