Breaking News!!: Mohave Valley, AZ: Brush fires at 2 separate locations caused power outage.

Firefighters from the Mohave Valley Fire Department responded to 2 separate fires in Mohave Valley, Arizona on Wednesday, June, 6th 2018.

A brush fire was reported at around 6:00pm MST near Aquarius Drive and Regents Road, and the second brush fire was reported at around 6:30pm MST at the corner of Jerome and Mountain View.

Both brush fire caused power to go out in the surrounding area of where the brush fire occurred.

According to Fire Marshall Don Gibson with the Mohave Valley Fire Department, “The little fire that was started by the power line that one is out it was only a five by five spot. The fire at Jerome and Mountain View is 100% contained but not out.”

Utility crews from the Mohave Electric Cooperative are working on the downed power lines and power is being restored to affected areas.

Crews from Golden Valley Cable and Communication are also seen checking on internet service and making repairs to any affected areas.

The cause of the brush fires are under investigation.

A garage, travel trailer, and vehicle caught fire at around 1:08am MST on Friday, March 2nd, 2018 in Mohave Valley, Arizona.

According to Mohave Valley Fire Department Fire Marshal Don Gibson, units from Mohave Valley Fire Department, Fort Mohave Mesa fire, San Bernardino County Fire, and Golden Shores fire responded to a reported structure fire in the 2100 block of Cabot Drive.

ZachNews Photojournalist Zachary A. Lopez rushed over to the fire and was broadcasting live from the sense of the fire.

Units arrived on scene to find a fully involved garage fire with exposures of a car and a travel trailer.

The fire was extinguished without incident at 2:29am MST.

There were no reported injuries to firefighters or the public.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.

According to the Mohave Valley Fire Department, firefighters responded to a vehicle rollover crash on Dike Road just north of Willow Valley Marina in Mohave Valley, Arizona.

The vehicle rollover crash occurred before 3:00pm MST on Monday, February 12th, 2018.

Mohave Valley Fire Department Engine 811, Medic 811, and 805, along with Fort Mojave Tribal Police Department and the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office all responded to the vehicle rollover.

According to the Mohave Valley Fire Department, a person with minor injury transported to Valley View Medical Center by Medic 811.

A vehicle collision occurred along Arizona State Route 95 near Courtwright Road in Mohave Valley, Arizona.

Terry Wyatt alerted ZachNews of the vehicle collision near the AM/PM Gas Station that reportedly occurred at 7:40pm MST on Monday, January 15th, 2018.

According to the Mohave Valley Fire Department, at least 2 vehicles were involved in the vehicle collision, but there were no injuries.

The roadway was closed, but Arizona Department of Transportation said the roadway is reopened.

A transformer catches on fire at the corner of King Street and Kingsley Street in Mohave Valley, Arizona causing power outage.

The fire occurred before 7:49am MST on Thursday, January 11th, 2018.

According to the Mohave Valley Fire Department, firefighters responded to the fire and put out the flames.

Utility crews with Mohave Electric Cooperative repaired the transformer and restored power to the affected area.

At this moment, unknown what caused the fire.

Mohave Valley, AZ: Investigation underway into vehicle and dumpster fires.

According to the Mohave Valley Fire Department, firefighters responded to a report of a vehicle fire with a structure endangered and a dumpster fire in the 10000 block of Mint Road in Mohave Valley, Arizona.

The fires reportedly occurred in the overnight hours of Thursday, January 11th, 2018.

Mohave Valley Fire Department as well as Fort Mohave Mesa Fire Department and San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the fire.

The fires were put out and are under investigation.
