The powerful storm that has been moving across southern California is approaching communities along the Colorado River.

ZachNews has spotting on the weather radar moderate rain from the powerful storm just west of Goffs, California and moving north into Nipton, California.

Gusty winds are occurring as well as rain is falling in Needles, California.

ZachNews has also spotting on the weather radar moderate to heavy rain from the powerful storm west of Blythe, California and moving along the Colorado River sweeping in a north direction.

The powerful storm appears to be moving is a sweeping north east direction.

People living, working, or visiting the communities of Goffs, California; Fenner, California; Needles, California; Vidal Junction, California; Havasu Landing, California; Lake Havasu City, Arizona; Parker, Arizona; Blythe, California; Topock, Arizona: Mohave Valley, Arizona; Laughlin, Nevada; and Cal-Nev-Ari, Nevada, should be ready in case of any weather related problems, including any power outages, flooding, or blowing debris.

Remember that because the powerful storm has been known to produce heavy rain, motorists driving along U.S. 95 and Route 66 should be on alert for any roadway flooding and to not driving through the flooded roadway.

Storm Watch 2017: San Bernardino County, CA: Storms brings cold winds, heavy rain, and lots of snow.

Another round of storms moved into San Bernardino County, California on Sunday, January 22nd, 2017 and Monday, January 23rd, 2017 bring cold temperatures, lots of heavy rain, and lots of snow to the area.

At around 2:36pm PT on Sunday, January 22nd, 2017, ZachNews Photojournalist Zachary A. Lopez captured on camera the storms entering into the Victorville, California and Hesperia, California area.

At around 2:41pm PT on Sunday, January 22nd, 2017, ZachNews heard the call of a vehicle stuck in a wash with 2 people inside the vehicle in the Cajon Pass area near Cajon Boulevard at Swarthout Canyon Road in Keenbrook, California.

NBC affiliate KNBC Channel 4 Journalist Mekahlo Medina captured on camera (Pictured Above) 2 people inside a blue truck surrounded by water.

The San Bernardino County Fire Department’s Swift Water Rescue Team was called and when arrived, began rescue operations.

During the rescue operations, an additional engine for down stream spotter was request as the water in the wash continued to rise.

According to the San Bernardino County Fire Department, rescue operations were complete with all victims rescued.

At around 2:42pm PT on Sunday, January 22nd, 2017, ZachNews Photojournalist Zachary A. Lopez captured on camera heavy rain and cold winds began to blow into the High Desert Gateway in Hesperia, California.

People were seen running to their vehicles as the heavy rain and cold winds continued into the evening.

Well heading back to Victorville, California, the heavy rain began to cause roadways to flood for motorists along Amargosa Road well creating a beautiful rainbow to the north.

A chilly 38*F greeted people as they drive by the Pacific Horizon Bancorp at the intersection of Amargosa Road and Dos Palmas Road in Victorville, California.

Motorists drove along the wet conditions in Victorville, California miles away from the Cajon Pass area of San Bernardino County, California where reports of snow falling were being reported.

Dark clouds from incoming storms continued to move into Hesperia, California bring not just rain, but even snow just 2 miles away to the south.

The City of Hesperia posted these wonderful pictures of the snow near Interstate 15.

Well leaving Old Town near 7 Street and D Street in Victorville, California, reports on light snow snowflake were seen falling.

Storms continued to move to the east across the high deser, but communities like Daggett, California; Newberry Springs, California; Ludlow, California; and Amboy, California had some of the sunshine breaking through the storm clouds.

At around 2:26pm PT on Monday, January 23rd, 2017, ZachNews Photojournalist Zachary A. Lopez captured on camera heavy rain falling along Interstate 40 just 12 miles west of Fenner, California from a passing storm.

Storm clouds were seen to the east of Needles, California in the mountains of Mohave County, Arizona.

When storms capable of producing cold temperatures, gust winds, heavy rain, and lots of snow prepare to move into San Bernardino County, California, please make sure to have an emergency survival kit ready; including a first aid kit, bring extra warm clothing, blankets, boots, rechargeable flashlight, food and water; drive carefully and stay away from flooded roadways; make sure to fully charge up cellular phone and bring an extra cellular phone battery also fully charged; and make sure to bring your snow tire chains if driving up into snowy conditions.

As seen in the video from NBC affiliate KNBC Channel 4 (Shown Above) of the swift water rescue in the Cajon Pass area, the San Bernardino County Fire Department wants to remain everybody to do not drive through moving water; “Turn Around, Don’t Drown“.

Weather radar from the National Weather Service is showing a storms with a mix of moderate to heavy rain falling northeast of Topock, Arizona.

The storm appears to be moving south to Interstate 40, but has been changing directions repeatedly to the southwest, south, and southeast directions.

The storm has showed repeated decrease and increase in strength.

Communities of Topock, Arizona; Lake Havasu City, Arizona; Mohave Valley, Arizona; and Needles, California should be on watch in case the storm moves into your area.

Always be prepared and ready in case of any flooding or power outages.

Use caution when driving along wet roadways and never cross a flooded roadway.

The National Weather Service is saying that possible thunderstorms this evening this afternoon.

Weather radar from the National Weather Service is showing a thunderstorms approaching the Colorado River near Bullhead City, Arizona.

The thunderstorms has moderate to heavy rain falling and possible thunder and lightning occurring and was located northwest of Bullhead City, Arizona.

The thunderstorms appears to be moving south to southeast and may moving into or near the communities of Oatman, Arizona and Kingman, Arizona.

The thunderstorms may pass north of Needles, California.

Please be prepared for any flooding or power outages.

Use caution when driving along wet roadways and never cross a flooded roadway.

Lightning, rain, and gusty winds moved through Needles, California at around 8:00pm PT on Wednesday, April 27th, 2016.

ZachNews Photojournalist Zachary A. Lopez captured pictures and videos of the lightning, rain, and debris blown around from gusty winds.

The lightning, rain, and gusty winds was from a storm that moved across the high desert areas of Lucerne Valley, California and Amboy, California before bringing the surprising storm over into Needles, California.

As the storm arrived, gusty winds blow dust across the community.

The gusty winds ripping some roofing shingles from a gated up abandoned motel at the intersection of Needles Highway and T Street blowing them along Route 66 and some small signs like an advertisement sign at the intersection of Needles Highway and North K Street to be  ripped apart.

The storm then bought rain to the area and loud thunder that woke people up.

Usual street flooding to the turnoff from Needles Highway onto West Broadway and the K Street Underpass occurred.

Work crews are working to drain the flooded K Street Underpass wish is closed between Front Street and Chestnut Street.

Motorists are being ask to use Needles Highway and West Broadway as a detour.

Overall, no major damage from the storm was reported, no power outages in the Needles, California area was reported, and the storm moved out of the Needles, California at around 12:00am PT on Thursday, April 28th, 2016.

According to the National Weather Service, thunderstorms are possible Thursday night and a 20% chance of showers for Thursday night and a 30% chance of showers for Saturday and Sunday.

Weather radars from NBC affiliate KNBC Channel 4 shows the light rain and light snow coming from the west and moving east into the Sacramento Mountains just south of Interstate 40 near Fenner, California.

If you’re living in or are hanging out in the areas south of Fenner, California; west to southwest of Needles, California; and north of Twentynine Palms, California as well as communities near the area of light rain and light snow, including Goffs, California; Essex, California, and Needles, California, please be prepared in case of any changes in weather conditions and cold temperatures.

If you’re driving into this area along Route 66, Interstate 40, and Highway 95, please use caution when driving in case of any changes in weather conditions and icy driving temperatures.

The light rain and light snow is expected to break a part as soon the weather system moves over Needles, California bringing no rain or snow to our area.

The last time snow fell onto Needles, California was almost a year ago New Year’s Eve back on Wednesday, December 31st, 2014.
