Breaking News!!: Essex, CA: Semi truck accident with tractor on fire along westbound Interstate 40.

There is a report of a semi truck accident with tractor on fire along westbound Interstate 40 just 2 miles west of Essex, California.

The California Highway Patrol is reporting that the semi truck bobtail and the semi truck pulled to the side of the interstate where the driver got out of the vehicle.

At this moment, California Highway Patrol is reporting that only the tractor is on fire.

Firefighters from San Bernardino County Fire Department’s Station 32 in Needles, California is responding to the fire with a fire department engine and water tanker.

San Bernardino County Fire Department is asking for Mohave Valley Fire Department to cover the Needles, California area incidents until their firefighters come back.

As of 8:13am PT, California Highway Patrol is reporting that the tractor is exploding and is fully engulfed in flames.

As of 8:26am PT, Fire Department Battalion #137 is telling dispatch that the tractor is fully engulfed in flames and the location of the fire is 1.19 miles west of Essex Road exit along westbound Interstate 40. Medical Engine #32 from Needles, California has just arrived and California Highway Patrol is on scene.

As of 8:27am PT, California Highway Patrol is reporting that the #2 lane is blocked.

As of 8:37am PT, Fire Department Battalion #137 is telling dispatch that the tractor fire is out.

Breaking News!!: Mohave Valley, AZ: A garage, travel trailer, and vehicle caught fire on Cabot Drive.

A garage, travel trailer, and vehicle caught fire at around 1:08am MST on Friday, March 2nd, 2018 in Mohave Valley, Arizona.

According to Mohave Valley Fire Department Fire Marshal Don Gibson, units from Mohave Valley Fire Department, Fort Mohave Mesa fire, San Bernardino County Fire, and Golden Shores fire responded to a reported structure fire in the 2100 block of Cabot Drive.

ZachNews Photojournalist Zachary A. Lopez rushed over to the fire and was broadcasting live from the sense of the fire.

Units arrived on scene to find a fully involved garage fire with exposures of a car and a travel trailer.

The fire was extinguished without incident at 2:29am MST.

There were no reported injuries to firefighters or the public.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.

All lanes along eastbound Interstate 40 are reopened after a semi truck rollover crash near Essex, California at around 2:22am PT on Wednesday, December 27th, 2017.

California Highway Patrol and firefighters from San Bernardino County Fire Department’s Station 32 responded to the scene of the rollover crash.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the driver of the semi truck is okay.

All lanes of eastbound Interstate 40 were blocked because the rollover crash and traffic was backed up.

Caltrans crews along with towing crews worked to upright the semi truck that was laying on side and clean up some diesel fuel that leaked onto eastbound lanes of Interstate 40.

This picture from Drew’s News shows the up righted semi truck as towing crews work to get the semi truck ready to tow away.

As of 12:29pm PT, the California Highway Patrol reports lanes are cleared, but there is some traffic in the area.

Reports that the semi truck is laying on side and diesel fuel is leaking onto eastbound lanes of Interstate 40.

According to the California Highway Patrol, all lanes of eastbound Interstate 40 are blocked and traffic is backed up.

A fire has been reported along the 1700 block of Needles Highway in Needles, California.

The fire was reported at around 4:00am PT on Sunday, November 26th, 2017.

Firefighters from San Bernardino County Fire Department’s Station 32 in Needles, California along with deputies with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, California Highway Patrol, and a security officer were on scene of the fire.

Firefighters from the San Bernardino County Fire Department’s Station 18 in Havasu Landing, California were also called to the fire.

Both directions of Needles Highway, also known as Route 66, is closed from West Broadway/N Street to O Street because of the fire.

Motorists are being asked to use West Broadway, Market Street, and O Street as a detour.

Firefighters worked quickly to put out the fire to the palm trees and small building, and put out any embers from the fire, including a small ember that landed in the front yard area of a next door home.

The fire burned at least 4 palm trees and a small vacant building which appear to have roof damage from the fire.

Reports that authorities gone inside the small building and say that the small building was vacant with nobody inside.

No other buildings, including a home next door, were affected by the fire.

The fire did not burn the new power lines that were installed during the Summer 2017 as part of the inter-tie power project.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

A near by home was not affected as firefighters from San Bernardino County Fire Department quickly put out the fire.
