Several remembrance ceremonies and memorial services at planned for Monday, September 11th, 2017 to honor all the victims in the 9/11 terrorist attacks that occurred 16 years ago today.

The White House said Untied States of America President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump planned to observe a moment of silence at the White House in remembrance of the nearly 3,000 people who were killed when hijackers flew commercial airplanes into both of the World Trade Center buildings in New York City, New York, the Pentagon in Washington, District of Columbia, and a field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania.

Untied States of America Vice President Mike Pence was to represent the administration at an observance at the 9/11 memorial in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.

New York Governor Cuomo has announced that flags will be flown at half-staff on Monday in observation of 9/11 terror attacks anniversary.

On Tuesday, September 11th, 2001, terrorists from the terrorist group Al-Qaeda attacked both buildings of the World Trade Center in New York City, New York, attacked the Pentagon in Washington, District of Columbia, and hijacked United Airlines Flight 93.

Brave men and women passengers and crew members aboard hijacked United Airlines Flight 93 fought the terrorist hijackers and prevented another attack on the United States of America.

The United Airlines Flight 93 crashed into a field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania killing all of the passengers and crew members on board the passenger plane.

Over 3,000 people were killed, including 340 New York City Fire Department Firefighters, 23 New York City Police Department Officers, 37 Port Authority Police Department Officers, and 8 Emergency Medical Technicians Workers, and 125 Pentagon Staff, over 6,000 people were injured, and over $10 billion dollars in property and infrastructure damages occurred that tragic morning.

Portland Police Department say an unpermitted protest march of several hundred leaving Pioneer Square on Southwest 6th Avenue heading northbound in the street.

All bus and MAX service in Downtown Portland, Oregon may be severely impacted through the evening hours due to protests in Portland City Center.

As of 7:40pm PT, Southwest Broadway at Yamhill is completely blocked by protesters sitting in the street.

As of 7:44pm PT, reports that protesters are in the street blocking Broadway. Law enforcement officers in riot gear are telling protesters that they are subject to arrest if the street is not cleared.

As of 7:46pm PT, Portland Police Department say protesters are throwing bottles and other projectiles at police at SW Broadway and Yamhill.

As of 7:48pm PT, Portland Police Department say the 2 people arrested at SW Broadway and Yamhill.

Reports that over 700 people are marching in the protest.

As of 10:23pm PT, protesters are marching on Olympic heading towards L.A. Live.

As of 10:30pm PT, protesters are stopped near L.A. Live at the intersection of Figueroa Street and 11th Street.

As of 10:32pm PT, protesters moving north along Figueroa Street. Reports over 1,000 people protesting.

As of 10:34pm PT, reports of some protesters being arrested on Figueroa Street near 11th Street.

As of 11:00pm PT, protesters are on 6th Street near Interstate 110. Some reports of tagging of property occurring.

As of 11:02pm PT, at least 2 protesters who allegedly tagged a law enforcement vehicle have been arrested. Protest crowd has swells to 3,000 people.

As of 5:20pm PT, news reporters saying no reports of violence at the protest tonight. Protesters are confronting law enforcement. Law enforcement is trying to direct protesters. Originally, main organizers of the protest said they wouldn’t march but law enforcement asked them to move b/c streets were blocked. Around 1,000-1,500 people are at the protest.

As of 7:31pm PT, Portland Police Department Sgt. Simpson said that we will facilitated a march as long as it’s on the streets we ask them to stay on. If people don’t follow our direction, that’s when it will be a problem and create traffic issues.

As of 7:32pm PT, Portland Police Department Sgt. Simpson said that law enforcement have already identified anarchist groups among the peaceful protesters. Will not tolerate vandalism like what happened last night.

As of 7:43pm PT, reports that part of the protest heading toward Burnside Bridge. Portland Police Department is saying to avoid traffic on West Burnside.

As of 7:50pm PT, Portland Police Department say that there is still a large crowd in front of City Hall. Approximately, 1,000 people are now marching southbound on 5th Avenue.

As of 9:22pm PT, NBC affiliate KGW Channel 8 is reporting that there is at least 3 protests happening in Downtown Portland, Oregon.

As of 9:24pm PT, law enforcement officers in riot gear have shot again flash-bangs and distraction devices have been deployed at protesters to move protesters back north on Southwest 4th Street. Reports that Interstate 84 and Interstate 5 are closed in the area.

As of 9:35pm PT, reports that more law enforcement officers have come up Jefferson to 4th, area that protesters have is shrinking. Southwest 4th northbound is still open to them.

According to the Portland Police Department, this suspect damaged a bank in the Pearl District and was involved in an assault at Southwest 3rd Avenue and Pine Street during the November 10th protest and riot.

As of 11:24pm PT, some protesters remain in the streets, but most of the peaceful protesters have left the march in the Downtown Portland, Oregon area.   Law enforcement officers in riot gear continue to follow protesters.

There’s been reports that journalists and others in the media have been injured and gassed covering these protests, leading to some news media to take other actions to cover the protests.

There were also winners in election race for the United States Senate held during the California Presidential Primary Election 2016 on Tuesday, June 7th, 2016.

According to the voting results from the Secretary of State of California, Kamala D. Harris (Party Preference: Democratic) has 2,051,048 (40.3%) and Loretta L. Sanchez (Party Preference: Democratic) has 943,002 (18.5%) for United States Senate.

There were a winner on a State Ballot Measure also held during the California Presidential Primary Election 2016 on Tuesday, June 7th, 2016.

According to the voting results from the Secretary of State of California, people voted “Yes” on Proposition 50 (Suspension of Legislators( with 3,756,183 (75.3%) voting Yes and 1,234,324 (24.7%) voting No.
